Some Christmas photos...

Here are a few random Christmas pictures. Blogger is still not giving me anything but code in my posts, so I have no clue what's what, and these are totally random, I'm sorry I can't put captions with them!! If you're on FB I put more an explanation with each photo over there. :)

We're doing well. N is growing and learning new things all the time. He's been "talking" up a storm lately, it's so cute!! He loves to just lay there and chat with us now. He's sleeping through the night about half the time. He'll do 11 hours one night, and then get up at 1:30 the next. I do love the full nights of sleep, but it's hard on me not knowing when he'll get up each night.

Well I need to go get some dinner made, I'll try to update again later with more Christmas pictures and more about our Christmas. Hope everyone had a great holiday season!!

Merry Christmas!

Now that all our cards have been mailed out, I thought I'd post it here so everyone can see it. :)

The first official day of Christmas vacation started out much like the Griswald's... I was laying in bed nursing N before 7 this morning and I heard a big loud crashing noise. R had pulled the shower curtain down in the bathroom. Lovely... I wonder if my house will still be standing when I send them back to school in two weeks?

Hope everyone's having a good holiday season so far!!

New pics for my wall

I've been redoing my photo wall a bit. After I put it up in January I decided that I wanted all the photos to be matted, and all black and whites, but I knew I was pregnant then, and I knew I'd want to add new pictures once the baby was born, so I just left it how it was. Well, I'm finally getting around to changing it over, and it's almost done. I've been switching them out slowly and I only have 3 spots left (which look really funny and stick out from the others now). I need a new one of M, and I want one of N with each of the kids. I took two of them today, still need one of N & R, hopefully later this week! I'll post a new picture of the whole thing once it's redone, but I wanted to share the two new pictures I took this afternoon. Of course, Mr. Serious won't smile for me, but he's still cute. :)

Truckers Parade & Santa

Last night we went to the Trucker's Parade. I never realized as a kid what a silly thing it is. Let's all go stand out in the cold (and usually wet) weather and watch a bunch of trucks drive by with lights all over them while they honk Jingle Bells. lol Great fun!!

Today we tracked down Santa so the kids could get their picture taken with him. M just had to ask if Rudolph was real, and Santa assured her he was. :)

3 mo. survey

We did this on my born in September message board, but I thought it'd be fun to post it here too...

How much is baby eating now?
Nursing every 2-4 hours during the day

How long is baby sleeping at night now?
He did 10 and 11 hours last weekend, but now he's back to 6-7 and then another 3-4 after that.

Where does baby like to nap? In his bouncy seat in the bathroom with the fan on (blocks out the noise from the other kids)

Does baby have a lovey?
Not yet, but he's getting a little blankie in his stocking. He's been clutching the burp rags a lot more lately, so I hope he takes well to his blankie!

Is baby holding up his/her head well now?
Yep

What seems to be baby's favorite toy right now?
He's still mostly into looking around at things, still likes the baby gym and his sassy mobile. He is starting to figure out he has hands, and he likes those. He's taken to sucking on two of his fingers some. He also loves to "stand" on our laps now.

What is baby getting for Christmas?
An exersaucer, stacking rings, and a few stocking stuffers... teether, sippy cup, spoons, a couple little toys, bibs, socks...

Anything else you'd like to share?
He's not super smiley, the four of us are the only ones who can really get him to smile easily, and I have the hardest time getting him to smile for the camera!!

New pictures below. :)

New Pictures

Sorry, my computer is giving me major problems right now and all I'm seeing is code in this post, so I'm not even going to try to put captions with each photo. I may try to come back and edit this later, but it's not working right tonight. Enjoy the photos!!

A few pictures

Well, let's see...
Life has been crazy, that's for sure! Last week I picked up the 7th round of antibiotics to go through our house in the last month, this time it was #2 for me. Thankfully they worked quickly and I was only really sick for one day! I'm so ready for us to be healthy for a while!! I keep thinking that I don't think this 3 kids thing would be that hard if we'd all just stay healthy. lol

The kids are doing well. M and R seem a lot better now, they go back next week for a recheck though. N is doing well. Growing and turning more into a baby instead of a newborn everyday. He smiles more now, and loves to be talked to and tries to talk back. He's just so cute!!

Here are a few pictures from that last 2 days. The first one was taken last night, I thought it was pretty good that they are all looking at the camera, and the older two are smiling!
The rest were taken this afternoon. Mr. N is getting pretty good at holding his head up now, no more bobblehead baby. :)

Smiles!

N was extra smiley this afternoon, so I decided to try to get some on camera. Enjoy. :)

Love those cheeks!!

Some Pictures & Update

My week was even more crazy than I thought it was going to be. Besides all the stuff I had listed the kids and I got our h1n1 shots (which meant 2 extra appointments), I got an infection and spent the better half of Thursday morning on the phone with a lactation consultant and a really awful doctor's nurse, and to cap off the week M ended up in the ER this morning with pneumonia. She's okay, not contagious (thankfully!), and on her second round of antibiodics which should hopefully clear it up. I'm pretty sure we all had the h1n1 when we were sick last month, and I think that's where it came from. It was never confirmed that we had it though, so we still go the shot. I'm seriously so tired of dealing with all the doctors appointment and medical stuff. I want to be DONE!!
Hopefully next week won't be AS crazy, although it seems to be filling up more than I wanted it to already.

Anyway, here are some pictures...

Halloween cuties

ready to fight some bad guys

look at all that candy! They're buckets were full to the top!

N having some tummy time (or as he likes to think of it, suck on his fist time)

cute boy

M took these last 2 so I could have some pictures with me in them. :)

Okay, N is up, gotta go. Hope everyone has a nice weekend!

Poor Neglected Blog

Wow, it's been a while! I've totally let my blog go lately. It seems almost everyone is on FB these days, and it's just easier. I'll try to update this a little more often though. :)

N is 7 weeks old today, time is flying! He's a pretty good baby. Matthew and I both think he's more "high needs" than R was (more like M), but I also think we're not remembering exactly how hard even R was at first. N likes to be held a lot, but he's starting to get the hang of sleeping better, so that's good! He's napping in the bathroom (with the fan on for white noise) in his bouncy seat most days, and sleeps in his pac-n-play in our room at night. He's starting to do a longer stretch at the start of the night, up to 5 hours, that's been great!
Here he is napping...

He's smiling now too, which is great! I just got him a baby gym and he LOVES it! He lays under it and kicks and bats his arms and legs trying to hit the toys, it's so cute!

One month...

the other day...

Oh! He's rolling over too! He started doing it before he was a month old, just like M. Crazy hu?

The big kids are doing well too. M brought home a chapter book from school Monday and had it finished by Tuesday night. She sat and read it in all her free time. I can't believe she's big enough for chapter books! She's reading a book to R right now, so sweet!!

We went to the pumpkin patch with a bunch of our friends last weekend. It's becoming a fun tradition!

My 3 kiddos

our family of 5 :)

They're very excited for Halloween. The kids are going to be the Incredibles, I'll try to get some pictures posted before Christmas. :)

So, anyway... I'll try to be better at updating the blog. We'll see how that goes... lol My week next week is insane, I can't wait for things to slow down a little! Here's what I have going on so far...

Monday- soccer party at 4:30, baby shower at 7 (plus the usual Monday craziness... drop kids off, grocery shop, pick up R, pick up M, all separate trips out of the house)
Tuesday- M has a dentist appointment at 4 (she has to get a cavity filled, should be fun!)
Wednesday- possible appointment for me in the morning (still waiting to talk to the doctor about it), eye doctor for M after school, small group that night
Thursday- Thursday night group (whoohoo!!)
Friday- my mom is taking the kids (I think I'll need the break after all of that!)

I think the week after next shouldn't be so crazy, maybe I'll be able to update the blog then? lol
