Start of the Week Stuff

Short menu for the week...

Menu:
Monday- crock pot salsa chicken nachos
Tuesday- something easy
Wednesday- crock pot chicken quesadillas
Thursday- something with pasta and the rest of the bell peppers and leftover ground beef in my fridge :)


To-Do's:
Monday- grocery shopping, stop by Lyndsey's work, small group
Tuesday-
Wednesday- dentist appointment (tons of errands in town??)
Thursday-
Friday-Sunday- camping

Start of the Week Stuff

Wow, I'm a bad blogger lately! I totally forgot to post my menu yesterday, and we had a really yummy dinner last night too!

Menu:
Monday- REALLY yummy grilled cheese sandwiches
Tuesday- hot dogs and oven baked fries
Wednesday- crock pot chicken chili and cornbread muffins (sad I don't have anymore TJ's mix at the moment)
Thursday-
Friday- Tacos
Saturday-
Sunday- Breakfast

I'm also planning on making this pasta salad for lunches later in the week, just as soon as I eat up the rest of the yummy pasta leftovers from last week! :)


To-Do's for the week:
Monday- grocery shopping
Tuesday- doctor's appointment and run to Target
Wednesday- clean out toys (??), my cousin here
Thursday- swimming @ my mom's
Friday- ?
Saturday- more swimming
Sunday- church, Cars2??


All of the above recipes were found while browsing pintrest. I didn't wait as long to jump on that bandwagon as I did facebook, and I'm sure glad I didn't! I love browsing for recipes, decorating ideas, or anything else. I love that I can look at just my friends' stuff, or everybody's, and I can look at everything, or just one category. It's so much fun, and I'm finding all sorts of cool things on there!! Now just don't tell me what this Google+ is all about, I have no more free time to be eaten up by the computer. :)

Scrapbook Friday

One day late, I completely forgot to post this yesterday, oops!!

First up, Britt has a new kit out called Story Time, which is perfect for all those reading pictures I have (and much more!) Here's what I scrapped with it:

On a side note, I had that picture off all 3 kids printed yesterday and then found out that my monitor was way off. My picture looked so bright and sunny on my screen, but it was too dark and cool in print, so I ended up spending quite a bit of time trying to get the monitor calibrated. I think I got it, I have some test prints waiting at Costco, but now I'm going to have to re-edit a bunch of my pictures. Good thing Costco's prints are not very expensive!

Start of the week Stuff

We got home last night from our family reunion in Sunriver and we're trying to get through vacation detox at the moment. Five loads of dirty laundry to be done, no food in the house, and getting back on track from having too much fun and getting too little sleep... :)
The reunion was a blast! There were over 100 people there from Matthew's family, and it was such a fun place to hang out. I can't wait to go back in two years (hopefully for a day longer than this time)!!
Here's one picture. This is all but one of the cousins (on our little limb of the tree) right after we got there. I think they were all really happy to be out of the car!!


We don't have a lot going on this week, which is a good thing, because I think it's going to take me a couple days to get settled again.

To-Do's:
Monday- lots of laundry and grocery shopping (I'll be doing good if I can get those 2 things done)
Tuesday-
Wednesday- Dad playing music @ 6
Thursday-
Friday-
Saturday-
Sunday- working in the church nursery

I also need to make a Costco/Eureka run one day, and maybe fit in a Crabs game and/or take the kids to Cars 2. We only have 2 or 3 weekends at home before the kids go back to school, which I think is crazy, so I want to use them wisely.

Thursday- Baked Creamy Chicken Taquitos

Not a lot going on this week, which is good because I really only have 3 days to get stuff done. I'm hoping to keep up with going through toys and cleaning things out, and maybe we'll go swimming again, but we'll see how quickly those 3 days fill up. Still working on finding a good summer groove. :)

Britt has another new kit this week, Baby, You're a Firework! It's an amazing kit, and I can't wait to use it again after this weekend when I have some firework pictures to scrap! For now I thought the blue matched R's graduation gown perfectly so I decided to do a non-themed page. :)
