Chasing Fireflies knock-off

I love looking through the Chasing Fireflies catalog, but I don't love the prices. A while ago I saw they had letters covered in shells and I knew I could do it for less. I found a letter B on clearance for 50 cents, and I had everything else already.
After seeing a tutorial on Pinterest about how to put glitter on something I decided to try covering my letter in sand Instead of shells. Let's just say that project was a total fail. Sand plus watered-down glue equals cement.
I managed to salvage the letter though, and finally got around to gluing shells on it today. I think it looks cute! Here it is in my bedroom.

Menu:
Monday- pizza from Costco
Tuesday- crock pot potato soup and homemade bread
Wednesday- crock pot pineapple chicken over brown rice
Thursday- pasta with meat sauce and broccoli
Friday- ?
Saturday- parmesan crusted tilapia with rice
Sunday- enchiladas

I might end up switching those around a bit, I didn't realize I had two crock pot meals in a row, but at least I have the meals planed out this week!


Not a lot going on this week. I'm hoping to get some stuff done around here, we'll see!

Britt's new kit this week is The Future Has Arrived. It was inspired by Tomorrowland at Disney, but it works for so much more than just Disney pics (although I can't wait to scrap some of those with it soon!!) Here's my page, I thought their creations looked kind of futuristic. lol

I've been slacking on posting (other than P365, I'm proud of how well I'm doing with that!), so this is a catch up post of sorts.

Menu for the week:
Monday- crock pot chicken nachos
Tuesday- sausage with peppers and pasta and garlic bread
Wednesday- leftover chicken quesadillas
Thursday- baked ziti, salad, and fresh bread (x2)
Friday- leftovers
Saturday- green dinner
Sunday- breakfast

I don't have a lot going on this week. I totally forgot N had an eye doctor's appointment yesterday and missed it, so not like me! I guess scheduling something for first thing Monday morning after a time change is not a smart idea.
My mom is going to come teach me how to make bread on Thursday, I'm excited about that!
